Your archive is yours

Effective July 1, 2026 · LOREMONSTER (lore.monster)

The short version

You can use most of LOREMONSTER without an account, and when you do, your data lives in your own browser — not on our servers. If you sign in, we store what's needed to sync your archive across devices. We don't sell your data. Ever.

As a guest

Scout reports, your wardrobe, your profile, and your history are saved in your browser's local storage, on your device. We never see them. Clearing your browser storage deletes them — that's also why we suggest signing in if you want your archive to survive.

With an account

Signing in uses your email address (via our authentication and database provider, Supabase). We then store what you choose to keep: your buyer profile, your wardrobe, your saved reads, and the “memory” your familiar builds from your activity — so it can sync across devices and get sharper over time. Public profiles (@handles) are opt-in: nothing is public until you publish it.

What happens when you Scout

The listing details you submit — screenshots, text, price, your profile — are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to produce the report, and listing links are looked up against the eBay API. Per our API agreements, this content isn't used to train their models. Don't include anything in a screenshot you wouldn't want processed.

Affiliate links & cookies

Outbound marketplace links may carry affiliate tags (eBay Partner Network, Skimlinks, FlexOffers), and those networks may set their own cookies to attribute a purchase. It earns us a commission and never changes a verdict. Beyond that, we use privacy-friendly aggregate analytics and bot protection (Vercel) — no ad trackers, no cross-site profiles.

Deletion & questions

Guest data: clear your browser storage. Account data: email contact@sachimichael.com and we'll delete your account and everything tied to it. Same address for any privacy question. LOREMONSTER isn't directed at children under 16.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll say so on this page with a new effective date — not bury it.
